Hi All!
On Friday 9/25/26, W0AV and N0RK visited the repeater site and installed a new 220MHz band pass filter on the receiver and retuned the duplexer. These changes improved the receive sensitivity about 12dbm overall.
W0AV is now able to use a 220 portable on low power in east Springfield all throughout the house and was able to use the repeater mobile using 7 watts out to about 20mi away.
KB0NHX was also able to key the repeater from inside his home in Clever, which he was not able to do before.
Please give the repeater a workout and send reports to us via the Contact Us page. We sure do appreciate the feedback!
